Reddish horizon,
Pink-rimmed clouds,
Purple hue
Contrast the vermillion
Sun dipping into the Pacific.
Branches of
Redwood tree and pine
Outlined against
The diminishing light.
A moth flies trancelike
In front of my window.
How strongly
The pull to the light
Elicits a dance.
